A bill for an act
relating to economic development; appropriating money to the Minnesota
investment fund and the Minnesota job creation fund.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATIONS.

new text begin (a) $17,500,000 in fiscal year 2018 and $17,500,000 in fiscal year 2019 are appropriated
from the general fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development for
the Minnesota investment fund under Minnesota Statutes, section 116J.8731. Of this amount,
up to three percent is for administration and monitoring of the program. This appropriation
is available until spent.

new text begin (b) $15,000,000 in fiscal year 2018 and $15,000,000 in fiscal year 2019 are appropriated
from the general fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development for
the Minnesota job creation fund under Minnesota Statutes, section 116J.8748. Of this
amount, up to three percent is for administration and monitoring of the program. This
appropriation is available until spent.

from the general fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development for
the redevelopment program under Minnesota Statutes, section 116J.571. This appropriation
