  1.1                             A resolution
  1.2             memorializing the President and Congress to prohibit 
  1.3             the importation of pseudoephedrine from other 
  1.4             countries into the United States. 
  1.5      WHEREAS, the importation of pseudoephedrine is not in the 
  1.6   interest of the citizens of Minnesota and the United States; 
  1.7   NOW, THEREFORE, 
  1.8      BE IT RESOLVED by the Legislature of the State of Minnesota 
  1.9   that the President and Congress should act immediately by 
  1.10  prohibiting the importation of pseudoephedrine. 
  1.11     BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of State of the 
  1.12  State of Minnesota is directed to prepare copies of this 
  1.13  memorial and transmit them to the President of the United 
  1.14  States, the President and Secretary of the United States Senate, 
  1.15  the Speaker and Clerk of the House of Representatives of the 
  1.16  United States, and Minnesota's Senators and Representatives in 
  1.17  Congress.
