  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to human services; requiring the commissioner 
  1.3             of human services to amend the traumatic brain injury 
  1.4             waiver; amending Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 
  1.5             256B.49, by adding a subdivision. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 256B.49, is 
  1.8   amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.9      Subd. 11.  [TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY AND RELATED CONDITIONS.] 
  1.10  The commissioner shall seek to amend the traumatic brain injury 
  1.11  waiver to include, as eligible persons, individuals with an 
  1.12  acquired or degenerative disease diagnosis where cognitive 
  1.13  impairment is present, such as multiple sclerosis.
