A bill for an act
relating to economic development; appropriating money for the youth-at-work
grant program.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; YOUTH-AT-WORK.

$5,000,000 in fiscal year 2018 and $5,000,000 in fiscal year 2019 are appropriated from
the general fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development for the
youth-at-work competitive grant program under Minnesota Statutes, section 116L.562,
subdivision 3. This appropriation is for increases to existing applicants who were awarded
grants in fiscal years 2016 and 2017, and also for new applicants.
