relating to agriculture; appropriating money for the development of a state
aquaculture plan.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; STATE AQUACULTURE PLAN.

$100,000 in fiscal year 2022 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of agriculture to provide technical assistance and leadership in the development of a
comprehensive and well-documented state aquaculture plan. The commissioner must provide
the state aquaculture plan to the legislative committees with jurisdiction over agriculture
finance and policy by February 15, 2023. This is a onetime appropriation.
