relating to arts and cultural heritage; appropriating money for a cultural center in
Waite Park.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; WAITE PARK CULTURAL CENTER.

new text begin $50,000 in fiscal year 2022 and $50,000 in fiscal year 2023 are appropriated from the
arts and cultural heritage fund to the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Humanities Center
for a grant to the Waite Park Somali Community Association to develop a cultural center
for new immigrants to celebrate the diverse cultural heritage of the state.
