BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin $108,684.65 in fiscal year 2022 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of management and budget for full payment of awards of damages under the Imprisonment
and Exoneration Remedies Act, Minnesota Statutes, sections 611.362 to 611.368, to Nicholas
Mark Peterson. This appropriation is available until June 30, 2022.

Sec. 2. new text begin DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS; APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $1,180.63 in fiscal year 2022 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of corrections for sentence-to-service and community work service claims under $7,000
and other claims already paid by the department. This appropriation is available until June
30, 2022.
