BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; TRUNK HIGHWAY 316 IMPROVEMENTS.

new text begin $2,550,000 in fiscal year 2020 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of transportation for a grant to the city of Hastings to pay the local share of design,
engineering, and construction costs of improvements to Trunk Highway 316 within the
Hastings city limits. This appropriation is available until the project is completed or
abandoned subject to Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.
