A bill for an act
relating to health; appropriating money to the ombudsman for mental health and
developmental disabilities.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATIONS; OMBUDSMAN FOR MENTAL HEALTH AND
DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES.

$2,487,000 in fiscal year 2022 and $2,536,000 in fiscal year 2023 are appropriated from
the general fund to the ombudsman for mental health and developmental disabilities for
operations. Of these amounts, $100,000 in fiscal year 2022 and $100,000 in fiscal year 2023
are for monitoring the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Minnesota.
