  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to economic development; providing for a 
  1.3             grant to the Pipestone County Historical Society; 
  1.4             appropriating money. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $150,000 in fiscal year 2000 is appropriated from the 
  1.8   general fund to the Minnesota Historical Society for a grant to 
  1.9   the Pipestone County Historical Society to develop a program 
  1.10  area on the third floor of the society's headquarters building 
  1.11  and to install an elevator to provide access to the third floor 
  1.12  program area.  This is a one-time appropriation and is not added 
  1.13  to the agency's budget base.
