A bill for an act
 relating to education; providing nonpublic school student health services.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin NONPUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENT HEALTH SERVICES.

new text begin For fiscal years 2008, 2009, and 2010, notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section
123B.44, or any other law to the contrary, a school district may enter into agreements with
nonpublic schools defined under Minnesota Statutes, section 123B.41, subdivision 9, that
are operating within its boundaries, to provide health services to nonpublic school students
defined under Minnesota Statutes, section 123B.41, subdivision 15. Each agreement shall
specify the services to be provided by the nonpublic school personnel and the amount
and method of reimbursement.
