A bill for an act
relating to medical research; appropriating funds for regenerative medicine research
at the University of Minnesota and Mayo Clinic.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

$100,000,000 in fiscal year 2018 is appropriated from the general fund to the Board of
Regents of the University of Minnesota for the collaborative partnership between the
University of Minnesota and Mayo Clinic for regenerative medicine research, clinical
translation, and commercialization. This is a onetime appropriation and funds are available
until expended.
