  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to the environment; prohibiting the 
  1.3             introduction of radioactive material into recycled 
  1.4             materials; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota 
  1.5             Statutes, chapter 116C. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [116C.745] [RECYCLING OF RADIOACTIVE MATERIAL; 
  1.8   PROHIBITION.] 
  1.9      A person may not intentionally introduce any radioactive 
  1.10  material into recycled products in the state.  For the purposes 
  1.11  of this section, "recycled products" are products containing any 
  1.12  recycled materials, such as recycled scrap metals, recycled 
  1.13  concrete, and recycled plastics.
