relating to natural resources; appropriating money for aquatic invasive species
grants.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; AQUATIC INVASIVE SPECIES GRANTS.

new text begin $1,000,000 in fiscal year 2020 and $1,000,000 in fiscal year 2021 are appropriated from
the general fund to the commissioner of natural resources for grants to lake associations for
controlling aquatic invasive species. No more than ten percent of the appropriation may go
to a single lake association.
