relating to state government; appropriating money to the Center for Rural Policy
and Development.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin CENTER FOR RURAL POLICY AND DEVELOPMENT;
APPROPRIATION.

new text begin (a) $300,000 in fiscal year 2018 and $300,000 in fiscal year 2019 are appropriated from
the general fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development for grants
to the Center for Rural Policy and Development.

new text begin (b) $300,000 in fiscal year 2018 and $300,000 in fiscal year 2019 are appropriated from
the general fund to the commissioner of agriculture for grants to the Center for Rural Policy
and Development.
