  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to capital improvements; appropriating money 
  1.3             for roof repair and betterment on buildings 1, 2, and 
  1.4             4 of the Minnesota Veterans Home in Hastings, and for 
  1.5             the installation of an elevator in building 1; 
  1.6             authorizing state bonds. 
  1.7   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.8      Section 1.  [HASTINGS VETERANS HOME.] 
  1.9      $....... is appropriated from the bond proceeds fund to the 
  1.10  department of administration for the repair and betterment of 
  1.11  roofs on buildings 1, 2, and 4 at the Hastings Veterans Home and 
  1.12  for the installation of an elevator in building 1. 
  1.13     Sec. 2.  [BOND SALE.] 
  1.14     To provide the money appropriated in this act from the bond 
  1.15  proceeds fund, the commissioner of finance, on request of the 
  1.16  governor, shall sell and issue bonds of the state in an amount 
  1.17  up to $....... in the manner, upon the terms, and with the 
  1.18  effect prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 
  1.19  16A.675, and by the Minnesota Constitution, article XI, sections 
  1.20  4 to 7. 
  1.21     Sec. 3.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.22     This act is effective the day following its final enactment.
