  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             proposing an amendment to the Minnesota Constitution, 
  1.3             article XI, by adding a section; providing for the 
  1.4             dedication of a part of the sales and use tax to the 
  1.5             game and fish fund. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT PROPOSED.] 
  1.8      An amendment to the Minnesota Constitution, article XI, by 
  1.9   adding a section, is proposed to the people.  If the amendment 
  1.10  is adopted, the section will read as follows: 
  1.11     Sec. 15.  One-eighth of one percent of the state sales and 
  1.12  use tax must be dedicated annually to the game and fish fund. 
  1.13     Sec. 2.  [SUBMISSION TO VOTERS.] 
  1.14     The proposed amendment must be submitted to the people at 
  1.15  the 2000 general election.  The question submitted shall be: 
  1.16     "Shall the Minnesota Constitution be amended to annually 
  1.17  dedicate one-eighth of one percent of the state sales and use 
  1.18  tax to the game and fish fund? 
  1.19                                     Yes .......
  1.20                                     No ........"
