  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to state lands; authorizing conveyance of 
  1.3             certain surplus state land in Otter Tail county. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [CONVEYANCE OF SURPLUS STATE LAND; OTTER TAIL 
  1.6   COUNTY.] 
  1.7      (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 94.09 to 
  1.8   94.13, the commissioner of administration shall convey the land 
  1.9   and associated buildings described in paragraph (c) to Otter 
  1.10  Tail county. 
  1.11     (b) The conveyance shall be in a form approved by the 
  1.12  attorney general.  The attorney general may require a survey, at 
  1.13  the expense of Otter Tail county, and may make necessary changes 
  1.14  to the legal description to correct errors and ensure accuracy. 
  1.15     (c) The land to be conveyed is located in Otter Tail 
  1.16  county, city of Fergus Falls, and lies within the area defined 
  1.17  by a line beginning at the intersection of Fir Avenue and State 
  1.18  Highway No. 297; thence northwesterly along State Highway No. 
  1.19  297 to Fourth Street; thence along Fourth Street to West Circle 
  1.20  Drive; thence along West Circle Drive to Incinerator Road; 
  1.21  thence southwesterly along Incinerator Road to Fir Avenue; 
  1.22  thence east along Fir Avenue to the point of beginning. 
  1.23     (d) The commissioner of human services has determined that 
  1.24  the land described in paragraph (c) and the buildings on the 
  2.1   described land are no longer needed for the Fergus Falls 
  2.2   regional treatment center.
