  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to highways; requiring commissioner of 
  1.3             transportation to conduct feasibility, cost, and 
  1.4             safety study regarding an overpass; appropriating 
  1.5             money. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION FOR OVERPASS STUDY.] 
  1.8      $....... is appropriated from the trunk highway fund to the 
  1.9   commissioner of transportation to conduct a study of the 
  1.10  feasibility, cost, and safety impacts of constructing an 
  1.11  overpass over marked trunk highway No. 52 at or near its 
  1.12  intersection with 85th Avenue North in the city of Brooklyn 
  1.13  Park.  The commissioner shall report findings and 
  1.14  recommendations, in writing, to the legislature before February 
  1.15  1, 2000.  This appropriation is available until February 1, 2000.
  1.16     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.17     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
