A bill for an act
relating to appropriations; appropriating money for Red River basin management
and water quality improvements.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $100,000 in fiscal year 2010 and $100,000 in fiscal year 2011 are appropriated from
the general fund to the Board of Water and Soil Resources for a grant to the Red River
Basin Commission for water quality and floodplain management, including administration
of programs. If the appropriation in either year is insufficient, the appropriation in the
other year is available for it.
