relating to human services; appropriating money for the Pathway Home Initiative.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; PATHWAY HOME INITIATIVE.

new text begin $....... in fiscal year 2024 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of
human services for a grant to the Greater Twin Cities United Way to engage with nonprofit
partners and governmental agencies to curb the number of people experiencing homelessness
by providing wrap-around services including but not limited to job training, mental health
support, case management, and rent support. This is a onetime appropriation and is available
until June 30, 2028.
