A bill for an act
relating to public health; appropriating money to study perfluorochemical levels.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $170,000 in fiscal year 2013 and $100,000 in fiscal year 2014 are appropriated from
the general fund to the Pollution Control Agency to be transferred to the commissioner
of health to conduct a follow-up study that measures changes in the perfluorochemical
levels in the east metropolitan communities of Lake Elmo, Oakdale, and Cottage Grove.
This is a onetime appropriation.
