  1.4             Statutes, chapter 103F. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [103F.206] [EXEMPTION.] 
  1.7      Notwithstanding sections 103F.201 to 103F.221, or rules 
  1.8   adopted by the commissioner under those sections, a commercial 
  1.9   business operating on shoreland before January 1, 1999, may 
  1.10  rebuild any building that the commercial business resides in, as 
  1.11  long as the building is not enlarged or added on to. 
  1.12     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.13     This act is effective the day following final enactment.
