  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to state lands; authorizing the commissioner 
  1.3             of transportation to exercise the power of eminent 
  1.4             domain for acquisition of certain trust fund land 
  1.5             bordering public waters. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [CONDEMNATION OF TRUST FUND LAND BORDERING 
  1.8   PUBLIC WATERS; BELTRAMI COUNTY.] 
  1.9      Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45 and 
  1.10  103F.535, or other law to the contrary, the commissioner of 
  1.11  transportation may acquire the following described trust fund 
  1.12  land, except minerals and mineral rights, by eminent domain: 
  1.13     Those parts of Government Lots 1 and 2 of Section 36, 
  1.14     Township 147 North, Range 34 West of the Fifth Principal 
  1.15     Meridian lying southwesterly of Minnesota department of 
  1.16     transportation right-of-way plat no. 04-23, plat of which 
  1.17     is on file and of record in the office of the county 
  1.18     recorder in and for Beltrami county, Minnesota, bounded as 
  1.19     follows:  southeasterly of the southwesterly projection of 
  1.20     the northwesterly line of said plat, northwesterly of the 
  1.21     southwesterly projection of the southeasterly line of said 
  1.22     plat, southwesterly of the southwesterly line of said plat, 
  1.23     and northeasterly of the shoreline of Grass Lake. 
  1.24     The above described tract contains 12.5 acres. 
  1.25     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  2.1      Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
