A bill for an act
relating to public safety; providing funding for hotel fire inspections; removing
inspection fees; appropriating money; amending Minnesota Statutes 2006,
section 299F.46, by adding a subdivision; repealing Minnesota Statutes 2006,
section 299F.46, subdivisions 3, 4.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 299F.46, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

new text begin A sum sufficient to operate and administer this program is
annually appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of public safety.

Sec. 2. new text begin REPEALER.
