  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to state lands; authorizing conveyance of 
  1.3             certain tax-forfeited land that borders public water 
  1.4             and wetland in Olmsted county. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [CONVEYANCE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND BORDERING 
  1.7   PUBLIC WATER AND WETLAND; OLMSTED COUNTY.] 
  1.8      (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45, 
  1.9   103.535, and 282.018, and the public sale provisions of 
  1.10  Minnesota Statutes, chapter 282, Olmsted county may convey to 
  1.11  the city of Rochester for no consideration the tax-forfeited 
  1.12  land bordering public water and wetland that is described in 
  1.13  paragraph (c). 
  1.14     (b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the 
  1.15  attorney general and provide that the land reverts to the state 
  1.16  if the city of Rochester stops using the land for the public 
  1.17  purpose described in paragraph (d). 
  1.18     (c) The land to be conveyed is located in Olmsted county 
  1.19  and is described as: 
  1.20     That part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter 
  1.21     East of County Road 1 and North of Pinewood Road and 
  1.22     easterly of Willow Creek, Section 13, Township 106 North, 
  1.23     Range 14 West. 
  1.24     (d) The county has determined that the land is needed by 
  1.25  the city of Rochester to use as a public park.
