A bill for an act
relating to environment; authorizing uses for the Hennepin County solid and
hazardous waste fund; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes,
chapter 383B.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

new text begin The Hennepin County Board of Commissioners may utilize money received from
the sources specified in section 473.811, subdivision 9, and placed in the county solid and
hazardous waste fund for program expenses of the Department of Environmental Services,
or department or office succeeding to the functions of the Department of Environmental
Services. This authority shall be in addition to the authority given in section 473.811,
subdivision 9.
