services; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota
Statutes, chapter 16C.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1.

[16C.082] TRANSLATION SERVICES.

When an agency enters into a contract for translation
services, the agency must give preference in awarding the
contract to a native speaker of the language other than English
that is involved in the translation services.
