relating to children; appropriating money for child abuse and neglect prevention
grants.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

$750,000 in fiscal year 2019 and $750,000 in fiscal year 2020 are appropriated from the
general fund to the commissioner of human services for grants to Minnesota Communities
Caring for Children to support their initiatives that prevent child abuse and neglect by
providing trauma-informed services, including training, education, support to parents, and
hiring. This appropriation is available until June 30, 2022.
