  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to courts; providing for implementation of 
  1.3             recommendations of the Minnesota task force on gender 
  1.4             fairness in the courts; appropriating money. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [IMPLEMENTATION; REPORT.] 
  1.7      The Minnesota task force on gender fairness in the courts 
  1.8   shall oversee implementation of those recommendations which do 
  1.9   not require legislation by February 1, 2000.  The task force 
  1.10  shall submit a report to the chair of the judiciary finance 
  1.11  committee in the house of representatives and the chair of the 
  1.12  crime prevention committee in the senate, indicating any 
  1.13  legislation required to implement its recommendations. 
  1.14     Sec. 2.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.15     $....... is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.16  supreme court for purposes of implementing the recommendations 
  1.17  of the Minnesota task force on gender fairness in the courts.
