  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  Laws 2000, chapter 461, article 18, section 10, 
  1.7   is amended to read: 
  1.8      Sec. 10.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.9      Sections 1 to 9 are effective on July 1, 2000 the day 
  1.10  following final enactment. 
  1.11     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.12     Section 1 is effective retroactive to May 16, 2000.
