  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $1,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.7   commissioner of trade and economic development for a grant to 
  1.8   the city of St. Peter to assist with the cost of replacement of 
  1.9   the community center destroyed by the tornado disaster of March 
  1.10  29, 1998.
