  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to appropriations; appropriating money for 
  1.3             landowner losses. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $50,093 is appropriated from the general fund in fiscal 
  1.7   year 2000 to the department of natural resources to reimburse a 
  1.8   landowner adjacent to Flandrau state park for: 
  1.9      (1) engineering design specifications; 
  1.10     (2) drain pipes, manholes, cement structure, and other 
  1.11  similar materials installed within Flandrau state park; and 
  1.12     (3) contractor equipment expense to install the materials 
  1.13  on state park property. 
  1.14     The reimbursed expenses must be to control surface water 
  1.15  flow and abate soil erosion within the park that reached an 
  1.16  emergency situation in the fall of 1998.
