A bill for an act
relating to transportation; highways; appropriating money for work on marked
Trunk Highway 5.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin TRUNK HIGHWAY 5; APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $10,000,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 2014 from the trunk highway fund to
the commissioner of transportation for acquisition of right-of-way and construction or
reconstruction of marked Trunk Highway 5 to include intersection improvements, access
control, and a pedestrian underpass in or near the city of Waconia. Notwithstanding
Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.28, this appropriation is available for five years following
the year of appropriation.
