A bill for an act
 relating to capital investment; appropriating money for turf replacement and
drainage improvements at the Savage Sports Center.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; SAVAGE SPORTS CENTER.

new text begin $600,000 in fiscal year 2024 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of employment and economic development for a grant to the city of Savage to construct
drainage improvements and replace turf on athletic fields at the Savage Sports Center. This
appropriation is onetime and is available until the project is completed or abandoned, subject
to Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.
