A bill for an act
relating to human services; allowing a licensing
change in Scott County to an existing ICF/MR; amending
Minnesota Statutes 2004, section 252.28, by adding a
subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2004, section 252.28, is
amended by adding a subdivision to read:

new text begin Notwithstanding any law or rule to the contrary, the
commissioner of human services shall allow an existing licensed
intermediate care facility for persons with mental retardation
or related conditions located in Scott County serving 52
individuals to be converted to eight separately licensed or
certified facilities in the current building that will serve up
to six individuals each.
