relating to community development; appropriating money for the central Minnesota
opportunity grant program.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $1,000,000 in fiscal year 2020 and $1,000,000 in fiscal year 2021 are appropriated from
the general fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development for the
central Minnesota opportunity grant program established under Minnesota Statutes, section
116J.9922. These appropriations are available until June 30, 2024. Starting in fiscal year
2024, the base funding for this program shall be $0.
