A bill for an act
relating to motor fuels; barring motor fuel franchise agreements that prohibit
installation or operation of ethanol blender pumps; proposing coding for new law
in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 80C.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

new text begin A franchise agreement, marketing agreement, or any other contract or directive of a
franchisor relating to the terms or conditions of the sale of motor fuel by a franchisee or
customer and subject to this chapter or chapter 80F must not prohibit the franchisee or any
affiliate of the franchisee from installing or operating an ethanol-blending fuel dispenser,
as regulated under section 239.761, subdivision 4b.

relating to the terms or conditions of the sale of fuel by a franchisee or customer entered
