A bill for an act
relating to state history; appropriating money for signage for the St. Anthony
Falls heritage interpretive zone.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; MINNESOTA HISTORICAL SOCIETY.

new text begin $636,000 in fiscal year 2008 is appropriated from the general fund to the Minnesota
Historical Society to work in cooperation with the St. Anthony Falls Heritage Board and
the city of Minneapolis to design and construct signage and wayfinding equipment for the
central riverfront of Minneapolis, including the St. Anthony Falls heritage interpretive
zone, as authorized in Minnesota Statutes, sections 138.761 to 138.766.

Historical Society, the St. Anthony Falls Heritage Board, and the city of Minneapolis
to install directional signage to the central riverfront from major trunk and interstate
highways.
