  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to transportation; appropriating money for 
  1.3             engineering study of trail in Ramsey and Washington 
  1.4             counties. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION FOR LAKE LINKS TRAIL NETWORK.] 
  1.7      $1,500,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   commissioner of transportation for a grant to the boards of 
  1.9   commissioners of Ramsey and Washington counties to jointly 
  1.10  prepare engineering design documents for the rehabilitation of 
  1.11  the roadway and the development of an adjacent trail for marked 
  1.12  trunk highway No. 120 from its intersection with Joy Road to its 
  1.13  intersection with 20th Street in the city of North St. Paul, for 
  1.14  marked trunk highway No. 96 from its intersection with marked 
  1.15  trunk highway No. 61 to its intersection with marked trunk 
  1.16  highway No. 244, and for marked trunk highway No. 244 from its 
  1.17  intersection with marked trunk highway No. 96 to and including 
  1.18  its intersection with Washington county road 12.  The design 
  1.19  must be consistent with the recommendations of the Lake Links 
  1.20  Trail Network Master Plan prepared for Ramsey and Washington 
  1.21  counties.
