  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [DEAF-BLIND SERVICES APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $....... is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.7   commissioner of human services for the 2002-2003 biennium to be 
  1.8   used for a grant to Deaf-Blind Services Minnesota, Inc. to 
  1.9   provide deaf-blind persons with residential training and 
  1.10  self-sufficiency supports.  Deaf-Blind Services Minnesota, Inc. 
  1.11  may contract with others to provide these services.  This 
  1.12  appropriation does not cancel and is available until expended.
