  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION; POTATO APHID RESEARCH.] 
  1.6      $200,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.7   University of Minnesota to fund research on potato aphids.  This 
  1.8   appropriation is in addition to other public and nonpublic money 
  1.9   for potato aphid research.  This appropriation is available 
  1.10  until June 30, 2001.
