A bill for an act
relating to higher education; appropriating money to
the Board of Trustees of the Minnesota State Colleges
and Universities for farm and small business
management programs.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $3,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the
Board of Trustees of the Minnesota State Colleges and
Universities for the fiscal biennium ending June 30, 2007, for
farm and small business management programs. These programs
shall provide individualized instruction to farm and business
owners, expand the use of online courses and services, reach out
to underserved populations, and enhance statewide collaboration.
