A bill for an act
 relating to veterans homes; veterans homes special revenue account; amending
Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 198.003, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 198.003, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

new text begin The general fund
appropriations made to the department may be transferred to a veterans homes special
revenue account in the special revenue fund in the same manner as other receipts are
deposited according to section 198.34 and are appropriated to the department for the
operation of veterans homes facilities and programs.
