  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to human services; changing provisions to 
  1.3             nursing home reimbursements; amending Minnesota 
  1.4             Statutes 1998, section 256B.431, by adding a 
  1.5             subdivision.  
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1998, section 256B.431, is 
  1.8   amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.9      Subd. 28.  [CHANGES TO NURSING HOME REIMBURSEMENT BEGINNING 
  1.10  JULY 1, 1999.] For the rate year beginning July 1, 1999, a 
  1.11  nursing facility in Chisago county licensed for 135 nursing home 
  1.12  beds on September 30, 1998, is exempt from subdivision 26, 
  1.13  paragraphs (a) and (b).
