relating to agriculture; appropriating money to the University of Minnesota to
study the economic implications of growing perennial grasses.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin ROW CROPS TO PERENNIAL GRASSES.

Regents of the University of Minnesota to study the economic implications of converting
Minnesota farmland from row crops to native perennial grasses harvested for bioenergy
development.
