  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to natural resources; changing the repeal 
  1.3             date of the Sustainable Forest Resources Act; amending 
  1.4             Laws 1995, chapter 220, section 142. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  Laws 1995, chapter 220, section 142, is amended 
  1.7   to read: 
  1.8      Sec. 142.  [EFFECTIVE DATES.] 
  1.9      Sections 2, 5, 7, 20, 42, 44 to 49, 56, 57, 101, 102, 117, 
  1.10  and 141, paragraph (d), are effective the day following final 
  1.11  enactment. 
  1.12     Sections 114, 115, 118, and 121 are effective January 1, 
  1.13  1996. 
  1.14     Sections 119, 120, and 141, paragraph (c), are effective 
  1.15  July 1, 1996. 
  1.16     Section 141, paragraph (b), is effective June 30, 1999 2001.
  1.17     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.18     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
