  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to appropriations; appropriating money for 
  1.3             wastewater treatment purposes. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      (a) $100,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund for 
  1.7   the biennium to the public facilities authority for placement in 
  1.8   the water pollution control revolving fund under Minnesota 
  1.9   Statutes, section 446A.07, to assist financing wastewater 
  1.10  facilities that meet effluent standards under the federal Water 
  1.11  Pollution Control Act. 
  1.12     (b) $97,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund for 
  1.13  the biennium to the public facilities authority for placement in 
  1.14  the wastewater infrastructure fund under Minnesota Statutes, 
  1.15  section 446A.072. 
  1.16     (c) $3,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund for 
  1.17  the biennium to the public facilities authority for placement in 
  1.18  the drinking water revolving fund under Minnesota Statutes, 
  1.19  section 446A.081, in order to match available federal funding. 
  1.20     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.21     This act is effective July 1, 1999.
