  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to natural resources; appropriating money to 
  1.3             aerate certain lakes. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $425,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.7   commissioner of natural resources in fiscal year 2002 for 
  1.8   requests for proposals for grants to utilize biologically 
  1.9   enhanced aeration treatments on the following lakes: 
  1.10     (1) $300,000 of the appropriation is to treat Como lake in 
  1.11  St. Paul; and 
  1.12     (2) $125,000 of the appropriation is to treat Powderhorn 
  1.13  lake in Minneapolis.
