  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to appropriations; appropriating money to the 
  1.3             job skills partnership board for funding a certain 
  1.4             program of the St. Paul port authority. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $435,000 is appropriated from the general fund in fiscal 
  1.8   year 2000 to the Minnesota job skills partnership board to fund 
  1.9   the program of the port authority of the city of St. Paul that 
  1.10  connects the economic development activity of the port 
  1.11  authority's business customers with the employment connection 
  1.12  program administered by the port authority consistent with and 
  1.13  subject to the program requirements of the Minnesota job skills 
  1.14  partnership program.  The appropriation is available until 
  1.15  expended.
